Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the PrepPilot mobile app and website, provided by PrepPilot (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By creating an account or using PrepPilot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What PrepPilot is

PrepPilot is a meal-planning and pantry-management tool for people with dietary restrictions and food sensitivities. It helps you plan meals, build shopping lists, and track the freshness of food in your pantry.

2. Medical disclaimer

Risk scores, ingredient ratings, and meal suggestions are estimates based on general food-safety guidelines and third-party databases. They may not reflect your individual tolerance. You are responsible for your own food choices and safety.

3. Eligibility & your account

• You must be at least 18 years old (or have the consent of a parent or guardian) to use PrepPilot.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the dietary information you provide.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.

4. Cost

PrepPilot is currently in alpha and provided free of charge. We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, the applicable pricing and billing terms will be clearly presented to you before you are charged, paid features will be identified, and we will update these Terms accordingly.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use PrepPilot for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems.
• Resell, scrape, or redistribute the service or its content without our permission.

6. Intellectual property

PrepPilot, including its software, design, and content (excluding the data you provide), is owned by PrepPilot and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for your personal, non-commercial use. You retain ownership of the data you create.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

PrepPilot is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrepPilot is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any adverse reactions, health outcomes, or losses arising from your use of the service or reliance on its suggestions or risk estimates.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold PrepPilot harmless from any claims or expenses arising out of your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms.

9. Changes to the service or these Terms

We may modify or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, ask you to review and accept the updated Terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which PrepPilot operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
